Install the Sketch Plugin
Once you’ve downloaded the app you’ll see the Install Sketch Plugin link within preferences. Clicking this will allow you to share artboards directly from Sketch.
Now you can quickly show your team what you’re working on by pressing ⌘ + Shift + W and without ever having to leave Sketch!
Set Up Your Keyboard Shortcuts
On the second tab within preferences, you can configure your keyboard shortcuts for taking screenshots, uploading from clipboard, and sharing from within Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Add Context, Tags, and Mention Your Teammates
Before your work is shared to Wake, you have the option to add a description where you can include #tags and @mentions. It’s usually best practice to provide some context so your team knows what they’re looking at and tag it so others can find it later.
Easily Record Prototypes, Flows, and Interactions
The Mac app makes it super easy to record your screen. Select a specific area or your entire screen and share it as a video or animate GIF. Perfect for walking your teammates through a prototype of a flow or interaction.
Notifications and Reminders
The Mac app is the best way to stay up-to-date with what is happening on Wake. You will receive notifications whenever somebody shares something new, comments on your work, or @mentions you. These can all be modified within preferences.
In order to have the full Wake experience, we highly recommend every member on your team downloads and installs the Mac uploader. It’s key to being able to seamlessly share your work without interrupting your workflow.
